About PMGMAN
Who We Are
Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Group of Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (PMG-MAN); a sub sector of Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN) represents all the manufacturers of pharmaceuticals and allied products in Nigeria, who collectively play key role in ensuring that Nigerians have timely access to affordable, safe and high quality medicines.
This group was inaugurated in 1983 by its founding fathers, led by the then chairman Otunba G. Olukoya was launched by Minister of Health Prof. Olikoye Ransome Kuti on 24th October 1984 with 20 foundation member companies. Today, the number is over 120 companies. PMG-MAN is affiliated with the West African Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (WAPMA) and the Federation of African Pharmaceutical Manufacturer’s Assciation (FAPMA).
Oluwatosin Jolayemi Esq, the MD/CEO of Daily-Need Industries Ltd, is chairman of the PMG-MAN and Mr. Frank Muonemeh is the CEO/ Executive Secretary of PMG-MAN.

Promoting the manufacture of high quality finished medical products and raw materials with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).

Improving the standard of Pharmaceutical Manufacturing in Nigeria.

Developing and promoting the contribution of drug manufacturing to the National Economy through representations on all relevant Bodies of Government.

Promoting and influencing Drug Policy with regards to Industrial, Labour, Social, Legal, and Technical matters.

Creating a forum for interaction and understanding between PMG-MAN and other stakeholders in the Industry.
