NUEL PHARMACEUTICALS LIMITED was incorporated and registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission under the Companies and Allied Matters Act, 1990 as a Limited Company on the 29TH OCT 2008. 

The Company was incorporated to engage in the manufacture, distribution and sale of pharmaceutical drugs, medicines, tablets, injections, medicated ointments, lotions, etc.

Profile of Directors/Shareholders

Mrs. Nkechi Maduekwe

She is the Managing Director of the Company. Mrs. Maduekwe is a strategic business woman with sound entrepreneurial and management skills which she acquired over decades of active engagement in Private sector businesses. She was the Managing Director of JULEO PHARMACEUTICAL COMPANY NIG LTD before she became a co-founder of NUEL PHARMACEUTICAL LTD. Her strategic business & enterprising skill has seen her take the company to greater heights and better business positioning since the company’s inception in the past few years of her administration.

Mrs Nkechi Maduekwe hails from Ichida In Anambra State, where she had her Primary and secondary School Education and has since also acquired further Adult education programmes. She has attended various Courses on Leadership and Management.

Mrs Nkechi Maduekwe currently controls 50% of the company shares allocation.

Engr. Emeka Maduekwe

Emeka Maduekwe is a Director and Head Engineering Department in NUEL PHARMACEUTICAL LTD. His vast knowledge in engineering and its application has been of immense use in the Maintenance and repair of all machineries used in the production process in the manufacturing unit of NUEL PHARMACEUTICAL. Engr. Emeka Maduekwe is a graduate of petroleum Engineering from the UNIVERSITY OF BENIN (graduated in 2007) and also an alumnus of the prestigious KINGS COLLEGE Lagos.

Apart from his technical and engineering prowess, Emeka has distinguished himself as a great leader and Manager of resources. He oversees the Production Department.

Emeka has attended many Courses on Leadership and Management locally and abroad.

Mr Emeka Maduewke who hails from Ichida in Anambra state and controls 20% of the company shares is married with Children.

Pharm. Uche Maduekwe

Mr Maduekwe Uche is the current Superintendent pharmacist at NUEL PHARMACEUTICAL LTD. He oversees all pharmaceutical activities in the company involving registration and renewal of pharmaceutical products with NAFDAC, pharmaceutical Licence annual renewal and also ensure that quality of all pharmaceutical products are maintained, among other activities.

Mr Maduekwe Uche is graduate of school of pharmacy at the University of Nigeria Nsukka, and has his internship training with the Military Hospital in Yaba Lagos in 2010, where he an intensive training in retail pharmacy and hospital pharmacy dispensary management. He also worked with the prestigious EKO hospital ikeja Lagos.

He work with KUNIMED PHARMACHEM LTD as an assistant pharmacist where he picked interest and also  gained his experience in pharmaceutical production techniques.

Uche is married with children and controls 20% of the company shares.

Mrs. Chiamaka Uzoagu

She is the marketing Manager of the company and oversees all marketing activities of the company. She is involved in direct interactions with the clients/customers, that is to say she handles the day to day sales and deals face to face with the customers in and outside of Lagos. Her Strong educational background, excellent customer relationship and  vast marketing strength has proven  to be of huge support  to the sales growth of the company  yearly ( which has been seen to grow on a yearly basis)

As one of the founding Directors/owners of NUEL PHARMACEUTICAL LTD, Chiamaka has developed and positioned NUEL PHARM PRODUCTS extensively in the PHARMA-INDUSTRY.

She is a graduate of Banking & Finance from the MADONA UNIVERSITY, ANAMBRA State where she earned and obtained her Bachelors Degree.

Nuel pharmaceutical Ltd is basically a pharmaceutical Company with the intention of meeting the depleted needs of the Nigerian Health sector by making quality drug products available, at affordable prices, to the Nigeria People who need it, especially considering the current Economic situation of the Country.

Nuel Pharmaceutical Ltd started pharmaceutical operations officially in the late 2009 after duly registering its pharmaceutical products with the NATIONAL AGENCY FOR FOOD AND DRUG ADMINISTRATION AND CONTROL (NAFDAC). Some of the Company’s branded products are NEUCOD, NUAMINO, ANTIDAR, TROPIVITE, NUEL CIPRO, NUSOVIN registered with NAFDAC.

Nuel pharmaceutical ltd office was initially located at No.5 Fure Lane Ojo Lagos , and in 2014 NUEL PHARMACEUTICAL LTD  ventured into backward  integration of its Pharmaceutical product, due to the increasing need to procure FOREX at high cost and difficulty in FOREX exchange availability hence the Management of NUEL PHARMACEUTICAL LTD identified the need to venture in Local Production of Pharma-Products, which  on the other hand has /would create job opportunities for more people /youths and the community at large.

Nuel pharmaceutical Ltd was officially registered and approved by the PHARMACEUTICAL COUNCIL OF NIGERIA (PCN) and NATIONAL AGENCY FOR FOOD AND DRUG ADMINISTRATION AND CONTROL (NAFDAC) in 2016 and till date Nuel Pharm ltd has been actively and extensively involved in local production of pharmaceutical products
