Sewell Pharmaceuticals Limited is a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing company located in Ota, Ogun State, Nigeria. The company was incorporated in April 1994 and was inspected and registered by PCN as pharmaceutical premises in 1995. It started production in 1997 after approval by NAFDAC as local manufacturer of pharmaceuticals. However, in March 2017, Artemis Life Sciences Limited, a Vista Group Company, acquired Sewell Pharmaceuticals Limited.
The company’s activities in basic drugs and formulations are currently in liquid oral dosage forms that include analgesics, hematinics, antacids, cough mixtures and antimicrobial agents.
